South Elder Care
Volunteers from St Martins work to provide daycare support for older people, who may be in frail health, lonely, or having difficulties with early dementia. They provide companionship and stimulating activities with a hot meal in the middle of the day.
Meets each Tuesday in the Church, 43 St Martins Road, for morning tea, lunch and activities.

Foot Clinic Mondays 1-4pm every six weeks at 43 St Martins Road provides a much needed service for elderly people in the community and makes our seniors feel special and valued.
This clinic is run by a small group of volunteers who offer a foot spa, toenail cutting, and a foot massage along with a cup of tea!

We support Waltham Community Cottage Te Whare Roopu o Oterepo situated at 201 Hastings St East. You can help by bringing along non-perishable grocery items for the foodbank each week and by donating gifts at Christmas. The Cottage is open Monday – Wednesday 9am-3pm & Thursday 9am-1pm.
On Wednesdays there is a free Community Lunch at 12 noon.
