Are you interested in gardening or cooking? Well, this will appeal to you. St Martins Primary School is running a project ‘From the Garden to the Table’. They are wanting people to share their skills with the children. This project is run each Tuesday in two groups.
Group 1 begin at 9am in the garden (1/2 to ¾ hr) – if wet an indoor programme is held. Then through to the kitchen until 11.30am where you assist them with cooking.
Group 2 begin the garden at 10.45am until 11.30am then into the kitchen in the afternoon 1.15-3.00pm.
The idea is to relate what is grown in the garden to cooking in the kitchen, even in winter. You might like to assist with gardening only, or cooking only, or you might like to follow through. For more information, contact Lyndsey 388 1264.
