Alpine Presbytery Earthquake Relief Fund…. The Moderator and Executive Officer of Presbytery have been maintaining contact with people in the areas affected by the earthquakes which happened at the beginning of last week.
People have asked how they can help in the aftermath of this devastating event. We are aware that there are significant concerns across parts of our Presbytery affecting Amuri Parish, the Hurunui, Kaikoura, the Awatere Parish and Blenheim.
We do ask that churches across our Presbytery encourage everyone to pray for people affected by this tragedy.
We also invite people to donate to a special Alpine Presbytery Relief Fund that will be created to support those most affected in the time ahead. Contact Gail at alpinepresoffice@gmail.com to request the bank account details, or post cheques to: Alpine Presbytery, P.O. Box 42120, Tower Junction Post Shop, Christchurch 8149. Our Moderator will monitor the use of this fund with the assistance of pastoral guidance from key leaders.
