From Parish Council meeting on Thursday 15th July:

  • Attendance at Sunday services has increased.
  • Zoom – remember to Zoom in when you can’t be here on a Sunday.
  • Garden Party at 16th October at Merchiston.
  • Kitchen roof has now been fully repaired thanks to the MenzShed.
  • AGM will be on 19th September – annual reports to Anna by 11th August
  • Next Parish Council meeting 19th August.
  • MenzShed have 60+ members, mostly retired, now meet on Monday as well as Wednesday & Saturday. Lots of community projects on the go. A desire to build an extension for metalwork has been proposed. Conversations and planning continue in liaison with the Parish Council.
  • Christmas Twilight Market Friday 10 December: any bright ideas  – please talk to Irene or Anna. This will be a joint fundraiser with St Mark’s Opawa.

South Elder Care invite you to a Scottish Country Dancing morning this Tuesday 10.30am-12noon in the Church. All are most welcome to come and watch or participate!

A new date: On Sunday 15th August we will share in soup & rolls with a Tanzanian twist, following the service, which will focus on Your Sisters Orphanage (donations can be made at the service to support the Orphanage) ******Please note change of date. All are welcome.**********
