- Please continue to wear your mask until seated at morning tea.
Next week’s reading is: Luke 6:17-26
PLEASE NOTE: The Movie Night on 30th April and the Parish Breakfast scheduled for Sunday 1st May have both been postponed.
Many thanks to Barry, Warren, Cyril & David for the removal of a very dead tree on the south boundary.

Fireside meeting Wednesday 27th April in the church lounge from 1.30 – it will be informal like last month, just for conversation and to see each other, masked, bringing your own afternoon tea if you would like some, hoping we can actually be outside. Any women are welcome to join us but it would be a good idea to check first that we are able to meet. Enquiries: Margaret 366 8936 The Parish Council met on Thursday evening with a full agenda: We will purchase 6 new lightweight tables for use in the lounge. These will replace the heavy tables that we currently use. The Council approved a new Mission Plan which gives direction to parish development for the next 5 years. As a congregation we will no longer require the use of Vaccine Passes. However Council remains committed to the use of well fitting masks during Sunday services and requests and strongly supports they be worn. Council reminds the parish that we are best protected from Covid 19 by being vaccinated and boostered and by the use of masks that fit snugly over the nose and mouth giving protection to others and providing protection to oneself. Council received correspondence from the Church Property Trustees reminding all parishes about earthquake strengthening of parish buildings. Parish finances remain in very good shape which is especially pleasing as we’ve negotiated a very unsettling period in our church life over the last three years. Council received written reports from the work groups. All groups are functioning very well.
