Opawaho Heathcote River Traps Sunday 29 June 1-3pm St Martins School, Albert Tce. Build and take home your own backyard rat tunnel trap. Rats thrive along rivers – let’s protect our native wildlife together! Bring gloves and a hammer – everything else is provided.

From June Parish Council meeting:

  • A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Rev Nardia Sandison to be our stated supply minister at 0.75 FTE until February 2026. This will be reviewed in late November.
  • Nardia was warmly welcomed. She is looking forward to getting to know the congregation and what it means to be the people of God in this place.
  • Many thanks to Warren for supplying 14 chairs with arms for use in the church.
  • Thank you also to Cyril for his gardening work.
  • The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 21 September.
  • Two incidents were reported on under health and safety. A reminder to everyone to please ensure the incident forms are completed within 24 hours of the event and returned to the Parish Office.
